Get Involved for Love of Lindale
Hey neighbors! We're going to change things up a bit this year. The goal is to encourage regular cleanups where you walk – anytime, anywhere it's needed, and do a few big projects each year.
For 2024:
🗓 Aim for every 2nd Saturday to keep it part of the routine.
🗑 Mostly DIY events. DIY means grab a neighbor or two for a 30 minute cleanup any time that works for you and your family.
🌀 We suggest walking your block to the next intersection, turn and loop around on the next block over. Imagine if several neighbors did this regularly, we’d make a huge impact on our blocks and our busy N-S streets!
🌳 Three big group projects🌼 This will allow our busy volunteers more time to coordinate delightful projects at the times of year that are best for landscaping improvements or celebrating our volunteers.
What do volunteers get?
🤗 That feel-good feeling!
👕 Love Lindale Park T-shirt. We're working on a new T-shirt for any volunteer who volunteers at two or more events in 2023.
🎟 Raffle entries for every time you let us know you did some clean up. Post on Nextdoor group “Love Lindale Park: Clean-up,” email our team with a pic or check in at a group event. We’ll do raffle drawing at the 3rd anniversary social.
